3 Top Korean Actresses Could Have Debuted As Idols

Gong Seung Yeon, Kim So Hyun, and Kim Yoo Jung are so multi-talented that they could have debuted as idols. Many idols gradually change their career from one of singing to acting, but rarely do we see actors pursuing the path of an idol. These top actresses, however, are so talented in dancing and performing that if they wanted to debut as an idol, they might just be able to.

Gong Seung Yeon

Gong Seung Yeon is already quite well-known to be highly talented in performing, especially being the older sister of TWICE‘s Jeongyeon. She was also previously a trainee at SM Entertainment in 2005 before leaving the agency to pursue her career as an actress in 2012.

While she was the MC for SBS‘s music performance show, Inkigayo, she joined her sister and the other TWICE members in performing “Cheer Up” alongside her partner MC, Kim Min Seok.

She also performed several iconic girl group choreographies with her sister and Kim Min Seok, showing just how well she would have done as an idol!

Kim So Hyun

Kim So Hyun also showcased her dancing skills in a special performance at the 2014 MBC Entertainment Awards by performing Girl’s Day‘s “Darling”.

Her gorgeous visuals and adorable facial expressions throughout her performance showed she was already quite comfortable and confident with performing in front of huge crowds.

Kim Yoo Jung

Kim Yoo Jung let the world know of her incredible performance skills through her traditional Korean dance performance in the drama Love in the Moonlight.

Previously in 2014, Kim Yoo Jung already showcased her dancing skills in her performance of Apink‘s “Mr. Chu” on Inkigayo.

A year before that, she showed just how sexy she could be by performing Hyuna‘s “RED” and EXID‘s “UP&DOWN” at her school festival.
