Gold medalist Son Yeon Jae stuns audience with impressive routine at the 2016 Olympics in Rio

Rhythmic gymnast Son Yeon Jae impresses the audience with her recent performance in the 2016 Olympics held in Rio de Janeiro.

Two-time Olympic athlete Son Yeon Jae is a rhythmic gymnast on the South Korean gymnastics team. At the 2012 London Olympics, she became the first Korean athlete to qualify in the All-Around Finals at the games.

Although this year she was unable to win any medal, it is already a large milestone for South Korea to be sending their first rhythmic gymnast to the Olympics for the second time.

Son Yeon Jae’s flexibility and elegance stunned the audience at what she could do. Even though she didn’t go home with a medal this time around, the young gymnast has plenty of time to practice and prepare for the next Summer Olympic Games in 2020.
