[★EXCLUSIVE] This Theory Reveals What Will Really Happen to Grim Reaper and Sunny

A scene from the latest episode of “Goblin” seem to reveal the producers have been hiding clues about the fate of Grim Reaper and Sunny’s relationship since the start of the drama!

After hit tvN drama “Goblin” aired its last episode for the week yesterday, viewers were left in suspense due to a serious plot twist.

Koreaboo staff, who have been following the drama, have come up with a theory that “Goblin” Producers have hidden clues since Episode 1 that suggest the Grim Reaper (Lee Dong Wook) and Sunny (Yoo In Na) are ultimately going to end up together!

This article contains spoilers from the latest episode of Goblin!

First is this scene from the latest episode that aired at the publishing of this post. It’s an important scene that’s the key to our theory! Look at the scene closely:

Next, we’ll go all the way back to Episode 2, where Goblin (Gong Yoo) and Ji Eun-Tak‘s first met. Eun-Tak followed Goblin through the door to Canada. From there, the two are seen walking under beautiful autumn trees. Goblin then catches a maple leaf for Eun-Tak.

Eun-Tak shares with Goblin that someone who catches a falling maple leaf will fall in love with the person they’re with. This draws parallels to what happened to Kim Sun (Sunny in her previous life) in the first GIF when she catches a falling flower petal.

Eun-Tak continues to say that someone who catches a falling cherry blossom will marry their first love. In the almost identical scene to what she describes, the young Queen (Sunny) catches a falling cherry blossom in the arms of the young King (who is now the Grim Reaper).

The similarities don’t just end here! During the scene where Eun-Tak and Goblin share their first kiss (Episode 6), the snow begins to suddenly start rising into the air instead of falling to the ground.

This exact supernatural event repeats itself in the scene we shared at the start of our theory, in the first GIF! The flower petals begin to immediately rise up to the sky instead of falling to the ground.

This event seems to signifying that Grim Reaper and Sunny will end up as a couple just as the Goblin and Eun-Tak had after sharing their first kiss!

In the same scene that was shown on Episode 10, the cherry blossom petals do not rise up and into the sky. They are seen falling to the ground the entire time. It seems the producers of the show are giving clear indication towards something in the last episode.

The scene below will definitely be iconic, if our theory holds true!

We’ll have to wait and see how the story unfolds but Goblin has been amazing drama so far and the producers haven’t disappointed us so far! Do you believe Koreaboo‘s theory might be true?
