PSY expected to be the 1st Korean artist to top the U.K's Official Singles Chart
There are high speculations that PSY will be the first Korean artist to top the U.K's Official Singles Chart after today's chart update showed "Gangnam Style" in the #1 spot. On September 27th, PSY's "Gangnam Style" moves up to two places, overtaking last week's #1 "Hall of Fame" by The Script and will.i.am.
Despite failing to score his first Kpop UK number one single last week, PSY was still regarded to top this week's rankings. Through BBC, The Official Charts Company revealed that "Gangnam Style" showed no hints of slowing down and is expected to top the chart this Sunday.
The Official UK Top 40 Singles Chart is based on singles download figures compiled by The Official Charts Company under the control of the British record industry. The official chart update for this week will be revealed on September 30th (Sunday).
Just last week, PSY ranked 3rd on the The Official UK Top 40 Singles Chart and 1st on Vodafone's Big Top 40. Back in the U.S, PSY continues to break records and peaked in 2nd place on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 Chart.
