PSY ranks 2nd on iTunes MV Chart
PSY continues to receive impressive responses for his track "Gangnam Style" by ranking first on the iTunes singles charts and second on the music video charts in the United States and Canada.
PSY is the only Korean artist in the chart and contends with international pop artists such as Justin Bieber and Katy Perry in the Top 10.
YG Entertainment is reportedly proud of such feat, as the music video ranking is based on downloads and not by streaming, proving the track's popularity overseas.
Since the release of his music video of the track "Gangnam Style," PSY managed to reach more than 30 million views on Youtube and received various parodies online. "Gangnam Style" also ranked first and fifth for Finland and the United States iTunes dance singles chart respectively.
PSY's guerrila concert for "Gangnam Style" held at Gangnam Station aired on SBS "Inkigayo" on August 19th.
