Hyuna postpones comeback date + album jacket cover revealed
4minute Hyuna's agency, Cube Entertainment, has recently announced that the release of her upcoming solo mini-album has been delayed, while also revealing the album jacket cover for the upcoming release.
A representative of Cube Entertainment stated, "The date of Hyuna's new album release was originally the 17th, but now the date has been moved to the 22nd."
According to the agency, the reason for the extension was to improve and show a perfect performance of the music video for her title song "Ice Cream." Hyuna's agency has added an additional shooting date which caused the delay of the release of her mini album, "Melting".
Among the nation's solo female artists, Hyuna faces very little rivalry, as there are not that many of them who are dance performers like Hyuna. Since the target for this comeback was to show Hyuna's sophisticated performance, the importance of Hyuna's choreography in the music video needed to be perfected. Therefore, a decision was made to add another date to her music video shooting schedule.
The title song "Ice Cream" will be a powerful hip-hop track and reveal Hyuna's unique charms from her rap, capturing listeners' ears. "Ice Cream," produced by hit music-maker Brave Brothers, will be Hyuna's first ever collaboration with them since her debut.
Many are interested in what Hyuna will bring to the table next, since she was reported to have been deeply involved in the making of her mini-album, from concept to song production with Brave Brothers.
Meanwhile, Hyuna previously revealed an image teaser for her comeback. Her second solo mini-album "Melting" will be released via various online music sites on October 22nd.
