Lexy to make a comeback after 4 years

Submitted: Jul 14 2012 07:55 PM by slidesandswings

After a long hiatus of four years, singer Lexy will be returning to the scene. Ever since her March 2008 album titled “Lexy,” the singer hasn’t had any activity but she is expected to have her new album out this August.

Lexy initially debuted under YG Entertainment in 2003 with her first album “Lexury” and was labeled as hip-hop and R&B. She was very successful, even being a competitor to Lee Hyori. Additionally, she was featured in songs by other popular artists such as Se7en, ITYM, and Wheesung.

In 2008 she was supposed to debut in Japan with a hip-hop group, but because of difficulties in the agency, the plan did not go through. Forced to return to domestic activities, she felt unable to further grow particularly after such a let down. Thus, she began her break of travel and regaining a peace of mind with a promise to return to the industry.

Over the last year, work on new songs has begun and she has been preparing for her comeback since the springtime. She has now signed with Red Line Entertainment. In February, Lexy used her blog to bring fans up to date as well as thank them for their love throughout the years.

Check out some of her older songs as fans await her August comeback.
