Areum and Dani show their individual talents at T-ara's Budokan concerts
T-ara's Budokan concert featured a special finale. On July 25th and 26th, the two newest members of the group, Areum and Dani, took the stage to show their personalities and talents.
Areum revealed her impressive vocal skills with a cover of Jessie J's "Price Tag." This song features an intense beat with a hip-hop style. She wowed the crowd with her cool, powerful singing. She also performed beautiful choreography to match the song. Her black mini-dress and netted leggings enhanced her cool look.
Eunjung praised Areum, stating, "Watching her on stage, it's evident that she is well-versed in singing and dancing. As she joined T-ara later, she still has a bit to catch up on. However, she is learning our older songs quite rapidly and is doing very well. Our future stages with Areum will be good."
Areum revealed, "It was my first concert and at first it was stressful because it was such a huge venue, but the other T-ara members gave me many tips and encouraging words so I'm very thankful for them. I will work hard to improve for the future."
Next, T-ara's new maknae, 14-year old Dani also appeared. She revealed her unique rapping. As she grew up in the United States ever since she was 4, her English was very fluid. After a smooth self-introduction in English and an awkward one in Japanese, she performed a short English rap.
Her rap was full of her personality. T-ara's older rappers, Hwayoung and Eunjung, have their own styles as well. Dani's rap differs from theirs - she has a cute, innocent style - while her two unnies boast a chic powerful style. Appearing in a white t-shirt and jeans, Dani showcased her innocence as T-ara's cute rapper.
Soyeon commented, "Dani is very young and so we thought she would be more suited to a cute concept, but she says she wants to try a sexy and chic concept sometime in the future. She will definitely become a key player as T-ara expands our activities."
