KARA will be the first Korean female group to hold a solo concert in Japan at the Tokyo Dome.

This was announced on their official Japanese website under Universal Music. Their Tokyo Dome concert stop will be part of KARA's "KARASIA" tour, and they will be celebrating the New Year with fans at that time. Titled "KARASIA 2013 HAPPY NEW YEAR in TOKYO DOME," KARA will be performing at the prestigious concert venue on January 6th, 2013.

One of Japan's biggest venue, the domed stadium holds approximately 50,000 people and has been referred to as the dream stage for Japanese artists. Other Korean artists who have previously achieved the feat of holding solo concerts at the Tokyo Dome include TVXQ and Rain.

Super Junior also performed at the Tokyo Dome for their "Super Show 4" concert earlier this year. Big Bang is set to perform at the Tokyo Dome as part of their world tour later this year.

Among all the male Korean artists that have performed at Tokyo Dome in the past, KARA will be the first Korean female artists to do so.

KARA will be holding 12 performances in 6 different cities in Japan including Yokohama, Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka, Tokyo and Saitama. They are expected to attract 150,000 Japanese fans at their "KARASIA" Japan-leg tour.

Meanwhile, KARA recently completed their activities in Korea with "Pandora" and is scheduled to released their 7th Japanese single "Electric Boy," which they will have an extended stay in Japan to promote it.
