Kim Hyungjun kick starts his nationwide tour in Japan with a successful Tokyo concert
SS501's Kim Hyungjun kick started his nationwide tour in Japan in Tokyo this weekend with a brilliant concert performance. This marks the start of his 2nd Japan tour, which is titled "KIMHYUNGJUN 2012 2nd Story in Japan."
In June, Kim Hyungjun released his 2nd mini-album, "Escape." To celebrate its release, Kim Hyungjun had three shows in Tokyo on August 3rd at the ZEPP Tokyo venue, accompanied by some 1,500 fans. In addition, the fans and staff members also shocked the artist with a surprise birthday party in celebration of his 26th birthday. A heartwarming scene could be seen when the birthday cake was suddenly brought out on stage and everyone began to sing him happy birthday.
With the Tokyo concerts, Kim Hyungjun showcased his new tracks in Japan for the first time, performing his title song, "Sorry I'm Sorry," to fans for a total 19 tracks performed on stage.
Following his performance at ZEPP Tokyo, Kim Hyungjun will be visiting Fukuoka, Osaka, Nagoya and Sapporo for an additional 6 concerts at their respective ZEPP venue until the 25th.
Meanwhile, Kim Hyungjun will release his mini-album, "Escape," in Japan on August 8th.
