Submitted: Jun 05 2012 06:23 AM by kireido

Lee Seunggi has been in the headlines quite recently, both with the end of the highly popular drama "The King 2 Hearts" and with his recent return to the stage with his concert titled "2012 Lee Seunggi Japan First Live - Hope."

Lee Seunggi performed his first solo stage in the country of Japan on Friday, June 1st. An impressive act regardless, but even more so considering the fact that he only debuted in Japan back in March. More than 8,000 people showed up to watch Lee Seunggi perform.

Besides singing his trademark songs, "You're My Friend" and "Alone in Love" (also his first single in Japan), Lee Seunggi was incredibly interactive and friendly with the fans at the concert. He asked for what songs they would like to hear and performed "Slave" and "Tonight" when the crowd cheered out.

Lee Seunggi sang for two hours and twenty minutes before calling the show to close. The concert will air on July 15th in Japan on the Wowow network.

Riisa Naka, a Japanese actress who was featured in the single "Alone in Love" and appeared with Seunggi on stage and made a comment on how impressed she was by Lee Seunggi's performance. She said, "You are an amazing performer at close range. I am now officially a fan."
