Mnet announces first K-POP Convention, "KCON", to be held this October in Los Angeles
At last, a convention for Hallyu fans! Mnet has announced in a press release that they will be holding the first ever convention for Hallyu fans this coming October with KCON 2012, a convention dedicated to K-POP and the Hallyu wave.
KCON 2012 is the first-ever large scale convention dedicated to Korean entertainment including, but not limited to, K-Pop, K-Drama and K-Movies. The grand-scale convention will be a full-day event that will be filled with autograph sessions, celebrity panels, various contests, fan workshops and more!
And to wrap up the fun-filled day event, a star-studded Korean concert will be held. More information regarding the concert and its line-up will be revealed at a later date.
KCON 2012 will take place on October 13 at the Verizon Amphitheater in Irvine, California. Tickets for KCON start at $40USD and are set to go on sale on Friday, August 24th.
