T-ara's Budokan concert in Japan sold out

Submitted: Jul 20 2012 05:52 AM by slidesandswings

T-ara's concert tickets are hot right now. Tickets for their "Jewelry Box" concert in Seoul went on sale a few days ago and only had a 600 tickets remaining after the first twenty minutes. Now, the trend is paralleled in their Japanese shows.

Their agency Core Contents Media has revealed that all 20,000 seats of their shows in the Nippon Budokan Arena in Tokyo have been sold out. These events will take place on July 25-26th.

Although the shows are on weekdays rather than weekends, the shows still sold out - evidence of T-ara's immense popularity in Japan. Selling out the Budokan is a dream for many Japanese artists. Other Korean groups who have achieved this feat include FT Island, TVXQ, Lee Seunggi and 2PM.

T-ara started off their promotions in Japan this June, visiting places like Osaka, Fukuoka and Hokkaido. The concerts in Tokyo will be the last in Japan for now.

In the meantime, T-ara is still rocking the charts with their comeback Korean song "Day by Day" and older hit "Lovey Dovey." Stay tuned for their August comeback with "Sexy Love."

Will you be at the Budokan concerts?
