AOA debuts with "Elvis" on M! Countdown
With a teaser website opening last month featuring teaser images for members Seolhyun, Choa, Hyejeong, Chanmi, Yuna, Mina, Jimin, and Y, rookie group AOA released their first single, titled "Angels' Story", late last month. In addition to their physical release, the girls also performed a debut showcase to show off their debut concept.
To further generate hype for their release, the group also held a flashmob event.
Opening their performance with a live band setup, the girls showcased a pop rock image as they performed with electric guitars, keyboards, and a drum kit. The girls of AOA then performed the second half of their stage all together, showing off their dance skills and synchronized choreography. Dressed in short all black outfits, AOA awed the crowd with their lively and energetic debut stage.
