AOA holds a successful debut showcase
New girl group AOA has been receiving attention because of their interesting concept. Not only are they angels, but they are also a band. After releasing their debut single "Angels' Story," the 7+1 group held a successful debut showcase at AX-Korea on July 30th (KST).
They began with self-introductions, describing their roles in the group as well as their angel and human names. They continued by describing the name AOA and their music and concept. AOA will be promoting two subunits. "AOA-White" is their dance subunit, and "AOA-Black" are the rock band subunit.
Additionally, they performed their title track, "Elvis." In this performance, they showed their flexibility by starting out with seven members dancing the choreography, then transitioning to the band version with five members. Here, Youkyoung was able to show her skills as the talented drummer the MC praised her for being. They also sang "Love Is Only You," written by Yonghwa.
Furthermore, their labelmates Jonghyun and Minhyuk of CNBLUE and singer-songwriter Juniel came to support of FNC's new girl group.
