B1A4's CNU to star in upcoming KBS Sitcom "I Need A Fairy"
B1A4's CNU, real name Shin Dongwoo, will make his first attempt at acting in the upcoming KBS Sitcom "I Need A Fairy".
The sitcom, written by Shin Gwangho and directed by Go Chansu, is a story about a clumsy fairy mother and her daughter who have lost their celestial robes resulting in them having to stay on Earth and adapt to a new lifestyle. They come to meet CNU's character, also named "Shin", who is famous with the girls in his high school.
CNU commented that "I am so honored to be able to act alongside senior actors. I want to learn a lot from them and be able to give a good performance as 'Shin', my character, as well having having fun whilst doing it. Please anticipate it"
B1A4 have recently been making their mark in the music industry with their popularity spreading overseas to Japan, where they will make their official debut later this year, as well as other countries throughout Asia.
"I Need A Fairy" will also be the first role for SS501's Heo Youngsaeng who will make his appearance later on in the series. Other actors taking part in the sitcom include Woo Seulhye, Shim Hyejin, Cha Inpyo, Lee Dooil, Yoon Jimin and Choi Jungwon. The first episode will air on KBS on the 27th February with a press conference to introduce the series on February 15th.
