Behind the scenes of Yoo Seungho and Park Eunbi's "World Cup Kiss" on the drama "Operation Love"
Korea's little brother, Yoo Seungho has had the behind-scenes story of his "World Cup Kiss" with Park Eunbi revealed to the public.
The footage of the making of the scene from the episode of "Operation Love" that aired on the 15th was revealed today on the drama's homepage.
In the story, Yoo Seungho's character Baekho and Park Eunbi's character Leeseul are attending the 2002 Japan vs. South Korea world cup soccer match, when they end up sharing a kiss after been shoved by other spectators. It is a scene that carries a lot of importance for the two characters, who had barely shown their feelings to each other.
According to the production staff, even though the two actors have an age difference, they came to be really close friends and couldn't quite hide their awkwardness with the scene. They were awkward in rehearsals as well, but the scene was shot without any big problems and afterwards they got over their awkwardness through laughter. Images of this were uploaded onto the homepage.
The production staff said, "Yoo Seungho and Park Eunbi were a bit awkward as they knew the kiss scene was coming up soon, but they took deep breaths and got the scene shot in one take."
Netizens who have seen the images from the set have said "These two have great chemistry and a there is a strange feeling, I predict they'll be a couple", "They match well", "Korea's little brother has grown up so fast, he can already do Kiss scenes well!", "I want to be Park Eunbi", "Even if you only look at the photos, you can see that it was embarrassing," and other such comments.
"Operation Love" is a melodrama in which the main actor gets a chance to go back to the past in order to protect his first love.
