CNBLUE's Kang Minhyuk is set to grace the small screen once again after it was confirmed that he will join the cast of an upcoming weekend television series on KBS. The show's promoter 3HW confirmed today that Minhyuk will be playing the role of Cha Saekwang for the show tentatively titled "You Are An Unexpected Piece of Good Luck".

Kang Minhyuk is set portray the role of Kim Namjoo's younger brother, further described as a womanizer. The show will start its broadcast on the 25th of February and will replace ongoing series "Ojakgyo Brothers".

This will be Minhyuk's fourth acting stint since debut, after having starred in "Heartstrings", "It's Okay, Daddy's Girl" and the movie "Acoustic". He was said to be selected because of his bright and charismatic image.

"You Are An Unexpected Piece of Good Luck" is a collaboration between Kim Hyungsuk and writer Park Jieun. The show is about the story of Kim Namjoo's character who copes between chaotic situations after moving in with her in-laws.
