Girls' Generation's Sooyoung slated to act in drama "Speed"
Girls' Generation's Sooyoung is slated to appear on the TV drama "Speed" as the main female character. On November 1st, SM Entertainment stated through Newsen that they are currently reviewing the script.
"Speed" will be directed by Yang Yunho, the same director from the 2009 drama "Iris." "Speed" is a drama that incorporates car racing into the main plot. The lead male actor has been slated to be Yoo Ahin, famous for his role in "Sungkyunkwan Scandal," which has been bringing in lots of attention already.
Meanwhile, Sooyoung has revealed her talents as an all around entertainer with her involvement in Girls' Generation as well as in entertainment variety shows. She has also developed her acting skills with her role in the sitcom "Unstoppable Marriage" with Yuri as well as her cameo in "Innocent Movie." She also had a cameo in "Paradise Ranch."
