Moon Geunyoung ends her 2-year hiatus and joins SBS drama "Cheongdamdong Alice"
Actress Moon Geunyoung will finally make a comeback to the small screen.
It's been 2 years since her appearance in the KBS2 drama "Mary Stayed Out All Night," and it was recently reported that Moon Geunyoung has been confirmed for a role in SBS drama "Cheongdamdong Alice."
Moon Geunyoung will play the role of Han Sekyuung, a woman who makes a breakthrough in the fashion industry and is hired by a company, who unfortunately, makes her run errands. She goes through a series of humiliation and is unable to prove her talents.
The actress recently met with the staff of "Cheongdamdong Alice," and it has been revealed that the shooting for the drama will begin in October. In additional news, actor Park Sihoo will be playing the male lead in the drama.
Kim Jiwoon and Kim Jinhee will take charge as the drama's scripwriters, and are known for writing for the dramas MBC "Queen Seonduk" and SBS "Tree of Deep Roots."
Meanwhile, "Cheongdamdong Alice" is scheduled to air on SBS in December.
