Moon Geunyoung offered lead role in new SBS drama
Actress Moon Geunyoung recently received an offer of lead actress for "Cheongdamdong Alice," an upcoming drama from SBS. A representative from the channel's drama department explained, "We’re currently talking about casting Moon Geunyoung for the new drama series 'Cheongdamdong Alice.' We haven’t decided anything yet, but it’s true that we offered a lead role in the series to her."
Namoo Actors, the agency representing the young actress stated, "Moon Geunyoung has been offered a lead role in the drama series 'Cheongdamdong Alice,' but she hasn’t made her decision yet."
Set to start airing in December, "Cheongdamdong Alice" is based on the novel "Cheongdamdong Oduri." If she does accept the role, this will be her first project since "Mary Stayed Out All Night," in which she portrayed a cute and adorable but, rather naive young girl.
