SBS "Beautiful You" cast holds press conference prior to premiere airing on Wednesday
On August 13th, the cast of the upcoming and anticipated SBS drama "Beautiful You" held a press conference at the Imperial Palace Hotel in Seoul, which was attended by leading actors SHINee's Minho and f(x)'s Sulli, Lee Hyunwoo, Kim Jiwon, ZE:A's Kwanghee, Kang Haneul, Seo Junyoung and Ahn Hyekyung, as well as the director of the drama.
"Beautiful You" is the first Korean drama adaptation of the popular Japanese manga, "Hanazakari no Kimitachi e," most commonly known as "Hana Kimi." The manga has previously been adapted as a Chinese drama and twice as a Japanese drama.
The plot of the drama follows the romance between gold medalist high jumper Kang Taejoon (Minho) and Goo Jaehee (Sulli). Following an accident, Goo Jaehee disguises herself as a male student to enter the all-male high school in order to help Kang Taejoon realize his dream again as a high jumper.
The drama is directed by Jeon Gisang and written by Lee Youngchul.
