2PM's Junho named honorary ambassador for World Vision
2PM member Junho recently attended a World Vision event where he was appointed as an honorary ambassador. As an ambassador, Junho is expected to help promote one of the main events, "Famine 24."
"Famine 24" is an event that will take place on August 18th for 24 hours in which participants can experience the lives of those around the world who live with poverty, disease, and warfare. During the event where he was named a honorary ambassador Junho comment, “It is my hope that the children I help will grow up well and be able to affect the lives of others as I have affected theirs. As an honorary ambassador I hope to shed light on the joy and warmth one can feel from ‘sharing’.”
World Vision’s Sponsor Development Director Jun Jaehyun stated in regards to Junho, “World Vision is greatly moved to have the participation of 2PM member Junho as an honorary ambassador in spite of his busy schedule. We would like to show our thanks to him. ‘Famine 24’ is an opportunity for teens from all over the world to create a unified mentality and learn about the pain and suffering of others their age in less fortune situations.
