Boyfriend creates their own webtoons
Boyfriend has become the first Korean group to use webtoons (web cartoons) as a way to communicate with fans!
Drawn by the members themselves, Boyfriend’s webtoons will serve as a fresh and unique way of interacting with fans. The group decided to create webtoons because they are webtoon fans themselves.
Since not all of them have had experience with drawing cartoons, Boyfriend has received lessons from well-known cartoonists to create the perfect webtoons, and fans have been pleased with their work. In fact, upon seeing the webtoons, netizens have left comments such as, “Were these really drawn by Boyfriend?” and “So creative!”
In addition, some of the cartoonists with which Boyfriend worked have also complimented the members on their artistic talent, especially Youngmin, whose work was said to show a lot of artistic potential.
Boyfriend’s webtoons can be found on Naver in the comic challenge section, and some of their art was also showcased on SBS's “Wonder Boy.” Check out some of their works below!
