UPDATE: Song Jihyo discharged from hospital + will resume filming tomorrow
Update: On an updated release sent by C-Jes Entertainment, they have confirmed Song Jihyo has been discharged from the hospital and will resume activties by Wednesday. Song Jihyo left hospital today and will resume filming for the MBC historical drama "Gyebaek" tomorrow.
The representative was also quoted saying "Her doctor advised her to get more rest since she hasn't recovered fully by she has to return to the set because of the drama's schedule".
Recently reported to have been hospitalized after suffering from an allergic reaction due to an intravenous solution, Song Jihyo remains in the hospital as confirmed by her management agency today.
On the 16th of September, Song Jihyo received a solution to help her finish filming for "Gyebaek" but ended up with an allergic reaction causing her initial hospitalization. Despite being advised to remain in the hospital to rest, Song Jihyo returned to the set to continue filming over the weekend. However, after spending an all-nighter on the set, her condition deteriorated and she was admitted to the hospital again. She is reported to have had difficulties breathing, requiring her to breathe normally with an aid of a mask.
On the 20th of September, C-Jes Entertainment revealed that the actress is still recovering in the hospital with her parents taking care of her. They were further quoted saying, "We haven't contacted her since her admittance so we aren't sure about her condition but we know she is in recovery."
According to them, the date of her discharge is still undecided and the date will be made when the doctors gives a comment on her condition.
At the moment, Song Jihyo is busy coping with filming schedules for the drama "Gyebaek" and the variety show "Running Man." Due to the hospitalization, Song Jihyo's upcoming appearance for "Running Man" has been postponed and it was highlighted that the members of Girls' Generation will be appearing on the show on her behalf.
