CF kings and queens for the first half of 2012 revealed
On the July 9 episode of MBC's "Happy Time," the list of CF kings and queens for the first half of this year was revealed.
The celebrity to snatch seventh place on this list was actor Jo Insung, who recently completed his mandatory military service. Having filmed six CFs during the first half of this year, Jo Insung made a total of 4,000,000,000 won (~ 3,500,000 USD) from commercials.
The next celebrity to place on the list was Lee Seunggi. Charging a rate of 700,000,000 won (~ 613,000 USD) per commercial, Lee Seunggi filmed a total six CFs for the first half of 2012 and raked in a total of 4,200,000,000 won (~ 3,700,000 USD). Some people were surprised that Lee Seunggi only placed sixth on the list as he used to be the king of commercials. The reason for his drop in rankings was because he had quit hosting variety shows, making him less visible to the public eye and making him a less appealing candidate for ambitious commercials.
Fifth place went to actress Kim Taehee, who made a total of 5,000,000,000 won (~ 4,376,000 USD) from CFs. With her lovely face and charismatic charm, Kim Taehee is always one of the favorites when it comes to selecting celebrity endorsers for products. In fact, one of the products that the actress endorsed sold extremely well and raked in 10,000,000,000 won (~ 8,785,000 USD) in sales.
Coming in fourth on the list was actor Won Bin. Although he has not had many activities since his last movie "The Man From Nowhere," Won Bin is still performing successfully in CFs, making a total of 6,000,000,000 won (~ 5,270,000 USD) from commercials in the first half of 2012.
Idol group Big Bang placed third. A popular choice for commercials geared towards a younger audience, Big Bang made a total of 6,600,000,000 won (~5,798,000 USD) from CFs in the first half of 2012. Although many companies initially had doubts on choosing Big Bang as their products' spokespersons due to the group's previousscandals, Big Bang's high popularity with teenagers and young adults still make the group the best choice for commercials aimed towards a younger audience.
In second place was actor Kim Soohyun. Charging over 500,000,000 won (~ 439,000 USD) for each commercial, Kim Soohyun filmed a total of eleven CFs in the first half of 2012, earning him 7,000,000,000 won (~ 6,149,000 USD).
Topping the list was Olympic gold medalist and figure skater Kim Yuna, who made an impressive 10,000,000,000 won (~ 8,784,000 USD) from CFs in the first half of this year. With her healthy image, pretty face, and Olympic achievement, Kim Yuna is one of the most favorite and popular choices when selecting a celebrity endorser for a product.

Seriously?! Don't be hatin' on LSG!! With this workaholic mentality no one can take a break, eh?! If he wouldn't have quit 1n2d and SH then he wouldn't a commanding, heart-wrenching performance in K2H.
