Fan club creates newspaper ad to commemorate Girls' Generation's fifth anniversary
On July 28th, Girls' Generation's fan club put an ad in the newspaper to celebrate the group's fifth anniversary.
Although the official date of Girls' Generation's anniversary is August 5th, the fan club decided to release the ad earlier so that it could also be used as a way to celebrate Girls' Generation member Tiffany's birthday, which is on August 1st. In addition, the fan club also wanted the ad to serve as a way to encourage all of the Korean athletes who are competing in the London Olympics, so releasing the ad earlier than the girl group's actual anniversary date seemed like the best plan.
One of the people responsible for creating the ad said the reason why the fan club decided to make a newspaper ad for Girls' Generation was because the group's unity and togetherness is very touching. Furthermore, the person said that no matter what happens, the club will always support the girl group, showing the club's everlasting support of Girls' Generation.
After debuting in 2007 with "Into the New World," Girls' Generation has created a lot of music that has brought joy to many K-Pop fans around the world. But aside from delivering hit songs such as "Gee," "Tell Me Your Wish," "Oh!," "Hoot," and "The Boys," the members of Girls' Generation have also showcased their diverse talents through the areas of acting and MC-ing.
