Findings on 2PM member Nichkhun's DUI incident to be passed on to the prosecutors
Investigation regarding 2PM member Nichkhun's drunk driving incident is set to be handed over to the prosecutors this week. Seoul's Gangnam Police station released a statement on August 7th saying that they will pass their own investigation to the prosecutors on August 9th and decide if there is a need to press charges for the incident.
On July 24th, Nichkhun was proven to have been driving under the influence of alcohol and collided with a motorcyclist. He was said to have a blood alcohol level of 0.056% after a concentration test was conducted. Although Nichkhun and the motorcyclist reached a settlement on the 31st, the incident is still under investigation, with the results still to be reviewed. The police and the prosecutors are set to discuss if there is a need to formally press charges towards Nichkhun.
Nichkhun has since apologized for the incident and will be on a temporary hiatus.
