Guinness World Records list PSY's "Gangnam Style" as most liked YouTube video
PSY continues to make history with "Gangnam Style" as Guinness World Records recently announced that "Gangnam Style" listed a record of 2,141,758 likes on YouTube, the most ever seen in YouTube history!
The Guinness World Records revealed this on their official website on September 20th with the title, "'Gangnam Style' holds Guiness World Record for most 'Liked" video in YouTube history."
Electric duo LMFAO's "Party Rock Anthem" recorded 1,574,963 likes; Justin Bieber's "Baby" recorded 1,327,147 likes; and Adele's "Rolling in the Deep" recorded 1,245,641 likes.
The Guinness World Records Community Manager, Dan Barrett, said, "Having been the "Have you seen this?!" video of the last two months across the web, it's great to be able to award a record for this tremendously popular video. In years past it was unthinkable that something would be viewed a hundred million times, and now 'Gangnam Style' has achieved more than twice this figure in just 3 months on YouTube."
As of now, "Gangnam Style" has been seen topping iTunes charts in 18 different countries and made the highest ranking for a South Korean on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart in 11th place this week.
The world just can't get enough of "Gangnam Style"!
