IU's notion becomes a hot topic, "No more school violence!"
Singer IU's statement in a notion is a hot topic among netizens.
On July 3rd, IU received a certification of appreciation from a commissioner at the Seoul Gwanghwamun Kyobo Bookstore, where an event for the publication of the book about school violence, "I'm Sorry," was held.
Since last Feburary, IU, who was the ambassador for the prevention of school violence, stated, "I'm happy that the book 'I'm Sorry' came out. I hope many adults and children will read this book about school violence and be aware of the reality of school violence."
In addition IU asked, "I want to ask a favor to the director and representatives to use me actively as the ambassador of this issue."
Netizen who heard this news commented, "IU's notion is really good," "IU's notion~ definitely nation's little sister!" and "I feel like school violence will disappear from IU's notion."
The book "I'm Sorry" is written by 13 police men of the Police Agency's Prevention of School Violence, who had experience with this issue in the past.
