JYP Entertainment confirms Nichkhun’s participation in MBC’s "KOICA’s Dream"
Back in July, 2PM's Nichkhun was reported to be involved in a car accident, which led to him being charged with a DUI. Due to this accident, it was announced that Nichkhun would be taking a break for self-reflection.
Now, it has been revealed that Nichkhun will come back from his hiatus and take part in MBC's "KOICA's Dream!" JYP Entertainment revealed that even though the self-reflection period has not been long enough, the idea of performing charity work through the show is fantastic and can be seen as an add-on to the community service work that Nichkhun already performs. The team headed for Tanzania and began their journey to help those that are underprivileged.
The decision to participate in the show was revealed to be a difficult one to make, as Nichkhun continues to reflect back on his mistake, keeping in mind the love and support that he has received from everyone in the past five years.
The members of the team are scheduled to return back to South Korea on the 21st of October.
