Lee Minho and Park Minyoung confirmed to be dating
"City Hunter" lead actor Lee Minho and actress Park Minyoung's relationship status has been confirmed. Just yesterday, both of their agencies, Starhaus Entertainment and King Kong Entertainment issued a joint statement confirming their month long relationship.
The two previously met on the set of "City Hunter," the SBS drama production in which they both starred in. However, local media published reports that the two actually met five years ago while filming for a television commercial. Despite receiving some buzz for their recent project, the two previously denied any possibility of a serious relationship.
The rumor mill continued as they were repeatedly spotted together on recent outings around Seoul, South Korea.
On a joint statement, Starhaus Entertainment and KingKong entertainment confirmed that it has been just over a month since the two admitted that they were dating. As of the moment, they claim that the relationship is still new and they are still on the phase of getting to know each other. They refused to give further comments as they claim it to be inappropriate to release more details of their private lives.
Meanwhile, due to the popularity of "City Hunter" across Asia, fans have now asked the network if it is possible for a second season. On a recent interview, Lee Minho suggested that he would star in the second eason only if it is totally different from the first one. As of the moment, SBS has not commented on the request and is still unclear if they will push through for another season.
