PSY and Scooter Braun make a toast to "breaking down barriers" with a shot of soju
Following the announcements of PSY signing a contract with Island Records, YG Entertainment has revealed the video clip of PSY and talent manager Scooter Braun announcing the official collaboration.
Scooter Braun reveals on the video, "So me and PSY here, we've been hanging out in California for four days, becoming friends. We've come to an agreement to make some history together, and be the first Korean artist to bring a big record to the United States."
"And to mark this moment in history between our great nations, we are going to take - and I want to show you so its real - its real. It's called soju. And it's like rubbing alcohol. Really strong liquor. And this is straight from Korea. Strong than what they have here in the United States."
"So one of two things are gonna happen here. Either we're gonna have a great successful career. Or I'm going to throw up and this whole thing's over."
PSY and Scooter Braun then raise their glasses as the latter gives a toast, saying, "To PSY. To Korea. To breaking down barriers. To the future. Thanks a lot."
After the two take a shot of the strong liquor, PSY and Scooter Braun shake hands, with Scooter Braun stating "Let's do it man," as they've opened a new doorway for a Korean artist to find success in the United States.
