SISTAR's Dasom cast in KBS2 sitcom "Shut Up Family"
SISTAR's Dasom has been cast in the upcoming daily sitcom, "Shut Up Family", which will air on KBS2. She joins many other Korean idols who have acted on sitcoms, including Brown Eyed Girls' Ga-in, 2AM's Jo Kwon, BEAST's Doojoon, A Pink's Chorong (all on "All My Love"), ZE:A's Siwan, currently appearing on MBC's "Standby", and BEAST's Kikwang and f(x)'s Krystal, both of whom appeared in the "High Kick" series.
Regarding Dasom's casting, PD Jo Joonhee said, "Dasom will play the character of a high school student. She and the character suit each other very well, so we sent her a love call [and cast her]. Because she is part of the main cast, we have high expectations for the upcoming broadcast."
"Shut Up Family" will air in August following the conclusion of "In Need of an Angel". It is the story of two families: A fancy, boastful, "dominate" family and a ne'er-do-well "inferior" family. The sitcom will show the process of the two families meeting and becoming one.
Meanwhile, SISTAR has recently begun promoting their new single, "Loving U", after the success of their hit single, "Alone".
