SM Entertainment to release a "Best Hits" compilation album

In conjugation with the upcoming "S.M.ART Exhibition" that will be held later this month, SM Entertainment has decided to release a compilation album of some of their biggest hit songs.

This will be a very notable album as it will the be first "Best Hits" compilation album that SM Entertainment has released in the last twelve years, since the release of "SM Best Album 2" in 2001. The album package is expected to contain 6 CDs with the biggest hits from 2001 to 2012. It will also contain some of the SM artists' hit OST tracks such as Taeyeon’s "Do You Hear Me" and Yesung’s "It Can’t Be Anyone Else but You." The album is also rumored to contain songs from other SM Entertainment artists such as pianist Song Kwangsik and folk singer Chu Gayeoul. In total, the 6 CD album is slated to have 89 songs.

In related news, SM Entertainment successfully completed their Tokyo stops of their "SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR III." They will continue the tour with a stop in Seoul at the Jamsil Olympic Stadium on August 18th.
