Tony Ahn, Jang Woohyuk and Kangta celebrate H.O.T's 16th anniversary
Singer Tony Ahn, Jang Woohyuk and Kangta have greeted fans with commemorative messages celebrating their 16th debut anniversary with 1st generation idol male group H.O.T.
On September 7th, Jang Woohyuk updated his Twitter saying, "H.O.T debuted 16 years ago, congratulations. Sexy guy Kangta, pika pika Heejun, mood guy Tony, shy guy Jaewon, and I love wild guy Woohyuk," and posting a photo as well.
The photo he posted along with his tweet was a cake Jang Wookyuk had received from fans. It reads: "Congratulations to H.O.T Woohyuk oppa for his 16th anniversary since debut."
That same morning, Kangta also tweeted, "It's been 16 years since I debuted with H.O.T. Time goes by quickly. I want to thank the many people I have worked together with and love."
On September 8th, Tony Ahn posted, "To all the fans celebrating H.O.T's 16th anniversary, thank you."
Moon Heejun, Tony Ahn, Jang Woohyuk, Kangta and Lee Jaewon debuted as one of the 1st generation male idol group H.O.T with "Warrior's Descendant" on September 7th, 1996 under SM Entertainment. In 2001, the group officially disbanded.
Currently, each members are following their own music career, with Kangta the only one remaining in SM Entertainment. Tony Ahn is the CEO of TN Entertainment, which houses former Click-B member Yoo Hosuk (Evan), Jung Juri, Shin Bongsun, SMASH and more.
