TVXQ's Changmin spends 80% of his free time playing games on iPad
The February 2nd episode Sakigake Ongaku Banzuke featured appearances by TVXQ's Yunho and Changmin, who had only recently returned to the Japanese music scene. The host conducted a short interview.
Here is the translation for the video.
Host: "A few days ago, you performed at SM Town Tokyo, it was a performance that many Japanese fans had patiently awaited for. The cheers were through the roof. How did it feel to once again stand in front of the fans after such a long time?"
Yunho: "Of course I was happy because everyone was cheering so loudly for us. The feeling of 'ah this is how it feels to be on stage' returned."
Changmin: "Finally being able to perform live in Japan again, although I was a bit nervous, standing in front of the fans gave me the power to change that nervousness into enjoyment."
Host: "Even you became nervous?"
Changmin: "Yes, very"
Host: "Are you the type to get easily nervous?"
Yunho: "Although he was nervous, his facial expression remained the same. Such a professional."
Host: "Ah I see, so he has a poker face."
Changmin: "Although it's a bit embarrassing."
Yunho: "Yes he has a poker face"
Host: "Performing live with BoA and SNSD, how did you feel about that?"
Changmin: "Performing with BoA, who is well-known, and friends like SNSD, along with other artists who are not active in Japan, I felt very honored."
Yunho: "Yes, that's how it was."
Host: "Please explain what type of song is 'Why(Keep Your Head Down)'?"
Changmin: "It is about a man's torn feelings of breaking up with the one they love. Yet they must overcome this feeling. It's that kind of song."
Host: "Then, Yunho, have you ever had this type of experience before?"
Yunho: "Yes I have."
Host: "You have! Isn't this an explosive statement?"
Yunho: "Then have you?"
Host: "Of course I have. In 'Why', are there any lyrics that you like in particular?"
Yunho: "'Why why why'; this repetitiveness I feel is a part that has a lot of charm."
Changmin: "'Is it a crime to love or is it a punishment on the one that suffers?' This line has left a deep impression on me."
Yunho: "I feel like what Changmin just said is pretty good."
Host: "Has there been anything you've been addicted to lately?"
Yunho: "If it's me, then it's the iPad. Don't we have time while we're moving from one place to the next? Then I like to listen to music or play games."
Host: "What type of games do you like to play?"
Changmin: "There's a game called 'Fieldrunners'. I've been addicted to that lately."
Yunho: "Especially Changmin. He is extremely addicted to it."
Changmin: "In a day, I spend 80% of my time playing this game."
Host: "You mean 80% of the time outside of work right?"
Changmin: "Outside of work, like when we're in the car or getting our makeup done. There's that kind of free time. I always play it. During those times, I will play the game and that constitutes 80% of the free time."
Yunho: "He concentrates really well."
This was the end of the interview. What was revealed next was that for the show, there is a cellphone ring tone download chart. TVXQ's "Why (Keep Your Head Down)" came in first place. Meanwhile, SNSD's "Run Devil Run" came in at #5. KARA's "Mister" and "Jumping" also came in at #8 and #10 on the chart, respectively.
