Submitted: Jun 30 2012 01:25 AM by happyazngirl08

On June 27th, French newspaper Le Parisien released an article titled "K-Pop Conquers South America." Focusing on the expansion of K-pop overseas, the article used JYJ as an example of a Korean music group that has had enormous success in various places around the world, including South America.

The article, which delves into the reasons why groups like JYJ are becoming so popular internationally, attributes JYJ's success to their catchy, addictive music and powerful, synchronized dance moves. The article also points out the success of JYJ's world tour, which served as a testament to the group's international appeal. The tour, which took place in fifteen cities around the world and in countries such as Peru, Germany, and Chile, demonstrated that JYJ's popularity has swept over the Western hemisphere.

Concluding the article is a report on JYJ's recent "JYJ Membership Week," which was a fan meet that opened on the 28th at the Setec Convention Hall in southern Seoul. Drawing over 7,000 Japanese fans to Korea, the event once again proved JYJ's international popularity and even caused some hotels to run out of rooms as more than 3,500 hotel rooms were booked by Japanese fans for this event. The "JYJ Membership Week" will last for a total of four days.
