America's Austin Film Critics Association names "I Saw The Devil" best foreign film of 2011

Kim Jeewon's thriller film "I Saw The Devil" starring Lee Byunghun and Choi Minsik has received yet another oversea award, this time from America's Austin Film Critics Association for the "Best Foreign Language Film 2011." "I Saw The Devil" was also named one of the Top 10 films of 2011.

The movie has receive much praise for its dark, yet intriguing nature and its filming style. Popular British magazine, Total Film, also named "I Saw The Devil" as one of the top 10 pictures of 2011, while Indie Wire called it one of the best films so far from 2011.

"I Saw The Devil" is a movie that tells the story of Soohyun, a special agent played by Lee Byunghun, who is engaged to the Squad Chief's daughter. She is suddenly murdered by a sadistic serial killer Kyungchul(Choi Minsik). Soohyun decides to track down Kyungchul and in a cruel game of cat and mouse, extract his painful revenge on his fiancée's killer.

The movie is available for streaming for Netflix subscribers.
