Big Bang's T.O.P., 2AM's Seul Ong, and CNBlue Jonghyun & MinHyuk to attend Busan Film Festival
The Busan Film Festival will take place on October 7th and will be held at the Haeundae Yatching Center until the 15th. The opening ceremony has garnered interest due to Big Bang's T.O.P. and 2AM's Im Seul Ong's confirmed attendance. CNBlue members, Lee Jong Jyun and Kang Min Hyuk, also tweeted that they will be headed to the Busan Film Festival. All four will be attending the festival as actors, not singers.
Im Seul Ong participated in the musical movie, Acoustic directed by Yoo Sang Hoon, with actress Shin Se Kyung and CNBlue members, Lee Jong Hyun and Kang Min Hyuk. Acoustic is about 20-year-old artists who find their hopes, dreams, and love through music. In addition, this project highlights the acting and musical talents of today's Korean idols, as well as youth and music in general. According to Min Hyuk's tweet, the Acoustic soundtrack and music video will also be released on the 7th. Acoustic is set to air on October 28th.
Meanwhile, T.O.P.'s movie, Into the Fire, which aired back in June of this year, has already received great response from viewers. Into the Fire is based on a true story of 71 students who fought hundreds of North Korean soldiers during the Korean War. The area where Pohang Girls' Middle School is located was a critical point in the war, as it was used to safeguard the Nakdong River frontier. The movie was inspired by a letter found by one of the 71 deceased soldiers. The movie had an estimated budget of 10.4 million USD.
