Dwayne Johnson praises Lee Byunghun
Dwayne Johnson met with Korean reporters at a press conference that was held for his movie "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island" at Le Meridien Taipei on January 17th. During the press conference, he spoke highly of Lee Byunghun.
Both Lee Byunghun and Dwayne Johnson will be appearing in the sequel film of "G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra," and had time to get acquainted with one another. Dwayne Johnson said, "I became a friend of Lee Byong Hun while we were filming ‘G.I. Joe 2’ together. It was such a great experience with him. He is an actor who has great presence.I was drawn to him right after we first met. We had dinner together and hung out since then. He is very humble even though he shows confidence in everything. He shows his tremendous presence in the movie. I liked his action as well as his acting. He is an excellent actor."
He continues, "One day when we had a filming schedule, Lee Byong Hun came to me and asked whether there was a scene in which I took off my top, and I answered ‘no’ and asked why he wanted to know. He answered, ‘I have to take off my top today and I am just worried whether my appearance would be compared with yours.’ I laughed after hearing what he answered."
"G.I. Joe: Retaliation" is set to release on June 29th, and will feature Lee Byunghun reprising his role as Storm Shadow and Dwayne Johnson as Roadblock.
