Joo Jihoon set to star in new movie "So, I Am King"
Recently stepping down from the musical "Doctor Zhivago" due to over exhaustion and vocal chord problems, Korean actor Joo Jihoon has confirmed his comeback project in a form of a movie. Set to make his comeback after completing his military service, Joo Jihoon is said to participate in the movie "So, I Am King".
According to Keyeast Agency, Joo Jihoon is currently being treated for his vocal chord problems but has agreed to star in the movie. It is set to be based in the Chosun era and is about King Sejong exchanging identities with a beggar, so he could experience a new way of living before officially becoming a King.
Joo Jihoon will play the role of Sejong in the project, and will take double roles acting as the beggar and king. The movie will be directed by Jang Gyooseong and will start filming in February.
