SM Entertainment's documentary film "I AM" will finally be released in Korea
After an indefinite postponement of its premiere date, SM Entertainment’s documentary film “I AM” will finally be released in Korean theaters on June 20th. This film will follow the stories of SM artists from their trainee days to their debut and current international success.
“I AM,” which has already premiered in other Asian countries, has been performing successfully in international box office sales. The film, which premiered in Japan on June 2, managed to nab first place in Japan’s box office sales during its opening weekend and proved to be especially popular with young adults. In Hong Kong, all pre-order tickets for the May 18 premiere were completely sold out, and Singapore, which has already had over 61 screenings of the documentary since its premiere on May 31, managed to fill at least 90% of the theatre’s seats for each screening.
