2NE1 cancels comeback stage on Mnet's M!Countdown
2NE1 cancels their first live performance for their comeback track "I Love You" for this week's M!Countdown, due to the passing of Minzy's grandmother.
YG Entertainment announced today that they have cancelled 2NE1's schedule on the program to allow Minzy to attend the funeral service. Minzy's grandmother Gong Okjin passed away last Monday due to a chronic illness.
The representative also revealed that, “Minzy wants to attend the send off ceremony on Thursday to commemorate her great-aunt. Thanks to Mnet’s considerate regard, we have decided to cancel the show for this week.”
Despite the group's absence on Mnet's M! Countdown this Thursday, CL, Dara and Bom will still continue their schedules and participate on a "star chatting session" hosted by social networking site me2day this Wednesday.
