PSY wins with "Gangnam Style" on M! Countdown + other performances
On the August 23rd episode of M! Countdown, Solbi made a comeback after a three year hiatus with her title track "Ottogi" featuring 4minute's Jiyoon, while VIXX and B.A.P performed special stages to celebrate K-Pop's most well-known track from the 90s.
VIXX hit the stage with Sech Kies' "PomSeungPomSa" along with their current title song "Rock Ur Body," while B.A.P performed a rendition of H.O.T's "Warrior's Descendant" and concluded their promotions for "No Mercy."
EXID made their comeback with 'I Feel Good" and Fresh Boyz debuted with "King Kong Shower." Skarf and Tiny-G also made their respective debuts with "Oh! Dance" and "Tiny-G." In addition, many clips featuring the currently airing sitcom "Reply 1997" were shown, adding to the "90s K-Pop" theme.
Other performances included AOA's debut track "Elvis," Eru's "Hate You" (feat. BEAST's Junhyung), Supernova's "She's Gone," and Fresh Boyz's debut performance of "King Kong Shower." In addition, F.Cuz continued their promotions for "Dreaming I," while Phantom and Tasty performed "Burning" and "You Know Me," respectively.
Korean-Singaporean group SKARF performed their debut track "Oh! Dance," while D-Unit and Two X performed "I'm Missing You" and "Double Up." Lastly, BEAST rocked the stage with "Beautiful Night" to conclude the set list for this week's M! Countdown.
To end the show, previous MC cuts from past episodes were played, and MC Tony An received a special MC award to celebrate the 90s K-Pop special episode of M! Countdown.
