PSY's 2012 MAMA collaboration stage to feature surprise guests
The 2012 MAMA (Mnet Asian Music Awards) is preparing for yet another phenomenal special collaboration stage this year.
Set to take place on November 30th in Hong Kong at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, this year's MAMA has already gained a lot of attention after revealing that many well-known international artists and entertainers will be attending including Adam Lambert, B.O.B, Wang Leehom and Jackie Chan.
Super Junior, Epik High, Lee Hi, Big Bang, SISTAR, Song Joongki and more Korean artists and actors have already been confirmed to attend this year's festivities.
General Director of the 2012 MAMA, Han Dongchul, said, "It is expected to be the best performance in history regarding the aspects of both its creativity and technology this year."
He continues to speak on PSY's upcoming collaboration stage at the 2012 MAMA, saying, "We believe that PSY will be able to connect more with Korean production teams. We will make a performance that shows off his charms better than those at EMA and AMA."
In addition, Han Dongchul revealed that PSY will have a special collaboration with surprise guests.
Overall, the producing team of the 2012 MAMA showed a lot of confidence for this year's music festival.
MAMA has brought many exciting and shocking collaboration in the past such as the Lee Hyori-Big Bang (T.O.P) (2008) and Hyuna-Hyunseung (2011) performances that resulted in fans screaming in shock when the two couples kissed.
In 2011, Super Junior heated the venue up when they stepped out with hundreds of dancers in black suits, dancing and singing to their hit "Sorry Sorry."
That same year, 2NE1's CL took the stage with world stars will.i.am and apl.de.ap of the Black Eyed Peas for the song "Where Is The Love."
Big Bang unit GD&TOP showcased their first performance together in 2010 at MAMA, and staged a brilliant noir 1950s storyline alongside Taeyang, where the trio pulled a gun on each other.
