10cm releases second album, "2.0"
Indie duo 10cm has been releasing occasional singles such as with the “Orange Revolution Festival” project. These songs have been popular with the fans, and the release of their long-awaited full-length album is finally here. As previously announced, this album was accompanied by a special online livestream event.
This twelve track release proves to be a dramatic shift from their previous style of just guitars and vocals. Starting from the first song, titled "You and I," listeners can get a sense of a particular rustic indie folk style from the 80s. Additionally, the cool piano of "Fine, Thank You, and You?" has an elegance that catches onto everyone's ears. Vintage instruments and microphones are used to capture the 60s sound of the Beatles.
The second title track, "The Han's Farewell," has a tango feel layered by great harmonies. The third and last title track, "Tonight," comes in two versions - one of which is for those 19 and older.
