B.A.P releases 2nd single, "Power"

B.A.P has returned with their 2nd single, "Power," on April 27th. The group has made a radical transformation in comparison to their concept for their debut single, "Warrior," in which all the members had similar hairstyle. This time, the B.A.P members have all acquired individual hairstyles, which has thus far received praise from fans.

In "Warrior," B.A.P had a large robot that weighed 200kg, but this time, B.A.P is seen with a giant spacecraft that weighs 700kg and is 18 meters tall.

"Power" is a track about the anger and resentment towards those who hold power and money but do not help the weak and needy.

The first track, "Fight For Freedom," was composed and written by Jeon Daun and Marco, with B.A.P's leader, Bang Yongguk, also credited in helping write the lyrics. The intro song is a hip-hop track that is accompanied by heavy drum beats and gives off a hard rock feel. This track talks about teenagers' freedom.

Bang Yongguk also participated in writing the lyrics for B.A.P's title track, "Power," alongside Kang Jiwon and Kim Kibum. In addition, he wrote the lyrics for the remaining tracks, "What The Hell" and "Everything Is A Lie."

The third track, "What The Hell," is the first official track that both composers Park Suseok and Inwoo have worked together on. It is driven by a heavy, melodic, electric guitar arrangement. Bang Yongguk and Zelo's aggressive rap, along with the rock sound and the strong lyrics, highlights B.A.P's masculinity.

The last track of the single is an R&B ballad about a man's honest feelings and regret. Unlike the existing songs, B.A.P's distinctive vocals and expressions can be felt and fans can once again hear Zelo's charming rap.
