CNBLUE releases first major Japanese album, "Code Name Blue"

Submitted: Aug 30 2012 05:20 AM by slidesandswings

After teasing fans by revealing singles from the album, CNBLUE has released their first major full-length Japanese album, titled "Code Name Blue." This album features six new songs: "Time is Over," "Have a Goodnight," "These Days," "Blue Sky," "With Me," and lastly, an English version of "Where Are You." Although "Time is Over" was revealed before, it is a song not previously revealed in older singles.

"Have a Goodnight" is an upbeat English song that presents the slightly rockier side of CNBLUE's music. On the other hand, "These Days" is a much slower track that opens with Jonghyun's vocals accompanied by guitar and keyboard. The laid back melody has a fitting groove to go along with it.

"Blue Sky" is even more relaxed and soothing than "These Days." Introduced by a nice guitar pattern and Yonghwa's husky voice, the song is very hopeful, finding inspiration in the beautiful skies and clouds. "With Me" is a cute love song that has a light feel despite its rock elements.

Don't forget to support them by purchasing the album through sites such as Warner Music Japan.
