Deli Spice releases new mini-album, "Be Open"

Submitted: Aug 23 2012 05:00 AM by Miranda

After releasing the digital single "Stop Work Order" earlier this week, indie-rock band Deli Spice has released the rest of their mini-album, "Be Open," on August 23rd via online music websites.

Deli Spice's new mini-album contains a total of six tracks: the title track "Be Open," the previously released "Stop Work Order," "Riding The Wind," "Bracelet 자르며," "Rainmaker," and "Now It Has Passed."

"Be Open" features a slow piano introduction with a synth melody pattern, followed by gentle vocals. The almost seven minute long track is slow and tender at first, but gradually builds up the energy through electric guitar and drums. Overall, the track is beautiful, with melodic piano interludes, the use of strings, and the recurring synth pattern. Although Deli Spice previously focused on an electronic sound, they are now experimenting with a more natural band sound.
